Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Schedule: 36 hours per week; Day/Eve/Night rotating shifts; Holidays, weekends, on call, and call back as needed.

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 17 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- RN License (New York)
- Two (2) years of nursing experience
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- PACU experience required; ICU experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide post-operative care for adult patients recovering from anesthesia.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition during recovery.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and their families regarding recovery processes.
- Respond promptly to any changes in patient condition that may arise during recovery.
- Follow established protocols and documentation procedures for post-anesthesia care.
