Billing SpecialistLocation: USA - Atlanta, 3705 Wilson RdDivision: Air & SeaJob Posting Title: Billing SpecialistTime Type: Full TimeSummary: The Billing Specialist is responsible for billing clients accurately and timely as defined by client and DSV standard operating procedures.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollect and confirm accuracy of all charges and expenses for a file to be billedEnter all charges and expenses for brokerage into billing system for manual ratingCollect and scan documents into the document imaging system for billing packets and visibilityEnsure charges are entered timely into the billing system and audit charges so DSV can bill the client (DSV routed cargo)Enter all charges, print invoice and mail with applicable documentation to client (Non-DSV cargo)Process and record direct deposits and electronic bill payments for the brokerage operationConfirm duty payment and bill if necessaryMaintain customer billing matrix in the brokerage systemOrder and maintain inventory of office supplies for the brokerage operationProactively identify and resolve brokerage billing related issuesOther accounting and operational functions assigned by the brokerage manager or supervisorEducational Background / Work Experience1-2 years or more of relevant work experience requiredSkills & CompetenciesAbility to work with minimal supervisionDetail oriented, organized, and able to effectively manage multiple prioritiesEffective interpersonal skills and ability to communicate both orally and in writingMust be able to communicate in a professional manner as the job will require day to day correspondence with many internal or external clientsComputer Skills: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelLanguage skills: Must be able to read, write, and speak English and the local country languageAt Will Employment: DSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as "at will" employees.Expected Base Pay Range: $21.53 – $26.91 HourlyDSV is an equal employment opportunity employer.
