Registered Behavior Technician

Acorn Health is an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) treatment provider dedicated to delivering high‑quality, individualized care to children on the autism spectrum. Job Overview Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) will work directly with clients to implement evidence‑based ABA interventions under the supervision of a BCBA, providing intensive, individualized treatment in settings such as centers, homes, schools or other locations. Job Responsibilities Deliver 1:1 ABA treatment to increase skills, decrease problem behaviors and reinforce behavioral supports. Collaborate closely with the supervising BCBA and other team members to ensure high‑quality service delivery. Support parent and caregiver training as directed by the BCBA. Collect data and document client records to monitor progress and inform treatment decisions. Communicate regularly with parents, supervisors, and other stakeholders to update and improve treatment plans. Provide services in center, home, school, or other locations as clinically indicated; schedule may include traveling between clients. Benefits Competitive hourly rate starting at $22 / hr. Benefits available to full‑time staff; some benefits also available to part‑time staff. Qualifications Certification as Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) highly preferred. At least 1–2 years of experience working with children; at least 1 year experience with ABA preferred. Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Team‑player oriented and enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration. Detail‑oriented and able to pass a background check. Passion for helping others.
