Head of Community

The client is building interoperable rollups secured by Bitcoin and advancing scalable, decentralized blockchain solutions with a focus on security and privacy. The Head of Community will work with business development, developer relations, and marketing to identify, engage, and nurture community groups aligned with the project vision, helping grow a “community of communities” across size and global geography. This role will own community growth and engagement programs, leading campaigns and initiatives that support education, content creation, and community culture. Responsibilities include coordinating community-facing activities and programming across major chat and social channels, organizing events with commercial partners, and aligning moderators across platforms; the Head of Community will also help shape the brand voice and community values as the project progresses toward a public launch. The client expects a highly data-driven, process-oriented, and crypto-native leader with a track record of scaling community initiatives and managing teams at a major crypto project. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to distill community input into insights for the developer and business goals, experience running ambassador or contributor engagement programs, and proven ability to design and optimize nurture and lead generation efforts with measurable conversion outcomes. Preferred qualities include being highly active and responsive across community platforms, experience managing server/community operations, and comfort with community trends and narratives; additional helpful experience may include meme or content creation support, multilingual ability, and working effectively within a Western time zone.
