Build AI That Finds the Next Great Company We're building an AI-native investment platform designed to transform how investment opportunities are discovered, evaluated, and prioritized. Instead of relying on manual research and fragmented data, we're creating intelligent software that continuously gathers signals from across the internet, identifies high-potential companies, and helps investors act before the rest of the market. We're looking for an Artificial Intelligence Engineer to lead the development of this platform and define how modern AI is applied to one of the most data-intensive problems in investing. This is a true zero-to-one opportunity where you'll help build an AI product from scratch with complete ownership over architecture, data, and intelligent workflows. You'll create an AI-powered platform that: Discovers companies by analyzing signals from thousands of data sources Uses AI to identify patterns and prioritize investment opportunities Automates research and repetitive investment workflows Learn from meetings, conversations, notes, and historical outcomes Continuously improves as proprietary data grows Serves as the firm's long-term intelligence engine You’ll be building a product where AI isn't a feature—it's the foundation. What You’ll Do: Design and develop production AI applications from the ground up Build intelligent data pipelines that power LLMs and agentic workflows Develop scalable backend systems supporting AI-driven products Design APIs and services that connect data, AI models, and user-facing applications Evaluate emerging AI technologies and determine where they create meaningful business value Partner directly with investors to translate complex investment workflows into intelligent software Own the platform from architecture through deployment What We’re Looking For: Experience building AI-powered applications in production Strong backend engineering experience with Python or similar languages (Go, Node, Java, etc.) Experience designing scalable data pipelines and modern data infrastructure Hands-on ownership of production ML systems and AI-enabled applications Experience integrating LLMs, agentic workflows, or modern AI tooling into real products Strong product instincts with experience building polished user-facing software Comfortable working across backend systems, APIs, data infrastructure, and AI services Experience owning systems end‑to‑end in small, high‑trust engineering teams Excellent written communication skills with a high‑ownership, low‑ego mindset Experience in investing, investment sourcing, or data-driven products is a plus, but not required.
