Collections Specialist (Full Time - Work From Home)

[Accounts Receivable / Remote] - Anywhere in U.S. / Up to $23.46-hr / Comprehensive Medical-Dental-Vision-Life-Disability / HSA+FSA / PTO (personal-sick-holidays-paternal-volunteer) / 401(k) matching / Tuition reimbursement / Generous EAP / Professional development and growth opportunities - As a Collections Specialist, you will: manage and maintain accounts receivable records for assigned payer portfolios; review and analyze patient accounts for accuracy and completeness; communicate with insurance companies to resolve outstanding balances; prepare and submit appeals and reconsideration requests; conduct collection calls and follow-up on payment arrangements; monitor and report on collection trends and performance metrics; prioritize and resolve aged accounts receivable; ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies; handle all collection-related inquiries and issues; maintain accurate and detailed collection documentation; identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and decrease outstanding balances; and contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and providing support when needed.
