Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to determine individual therapy needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions through individual, family, couples, and group therapy sessions.

• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy, to address unique client challenges.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the care provided and ensure comprehensive treatment plans.

• Document accurate and timely clinical notes while maintaining compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities such as workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health treatments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will vary widely in their backgrounds and mental health concerns, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. With a focus on providing compassionate care, you will play an influential role in empowering clients to achieve better mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Georgia is mandatory.

• At least two years of clinical counseling experience is essential, preferably in an outpatient setting.

• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a healthcare team.
