About the Role:

The Operator I - Level 1 plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production or processing equipment within the facility. This entry-level position focuses on monitoring machinery, performing routine inspections, and maintaining operational standards to meet production goals. The operator will be responsible for identifying and reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly to minimize downtime and maintain a safe working environment. This role requires adherence to established protocols and collaboration with team members to support continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, the Operator I contributes to the overall productivity and quality standards of the organization by executing assigned tasks with precision and reliability.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability in attendance and work performance.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with standard safety practices and quality control procedures.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, or overtime as required.
• Certification in equipment operation or safety training programs.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure equipment functionality.
• Record operational data and report any irregularities or equipment issues to supervisors.
• Follow safety guidelines and participate in safety training to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
• Collaborate with team members and support other departments as needed to meet production targets.
