Law Firm Administrator

A midsized general practice firm in downtown Minneapolis, is hiring a firm administrator. In practice this is a legal operations position that touches finance, HR, payroll, and firm administration, and it reports into and supports the firm's managing partner directly. The day to day covers a lot of ground: Finance and accounting. Supporting the comptroller on monthly client billing, processing credit card and check payments, entering client costs, preparing monthly origination and production reporting for the attorneys, and helping with accounts payable. HR, benefits, and payroll. Recruiting, training, and benefits support, onboarding new attorneys and staff, running payroll through ADP, managing insurance renewals and open enrollment, and handling mandatory annual reporting. Operations. Working with the managing partner on the annual attorney retreat and other strategic planning work, vendor relations, and facilities. This is genuinely a wear-multiple-hats role. Compensation is in the range of $100,000 to $130,000 base depending on experience, plus a 401(k) employer match, full insurance options, paid parental leave, and PTO.
