We’re people-first, team-oriented, and looking for someone excited to contribute to meaningful, high-impact work.What You’ll DoWork with developers and project management in a highly transactional OLTP environment to build new and support existing SQL code, structures, and dataCoach, train and lead a team of 2 SQL Application DevelopersEvaluate and performance tune existing procedures and dataAnalyze business needs and software requirements to help determine feasibility of work within time and resource constraintsProject life cycle involvement – planning, estimates, documentation, development, testing and deploymentWhat We’re Looking ForWe value strong fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to grow. If you have a solid foundation and are excited to learn, we want to hear from you.Required fundamentals:5+ years of recent experience with MS SQL Server 2016+, preferably in an e-commerce environmentExperience with designing SQL Structures and procedures to support highly transactional applications.Experience fine-tuning SQL functions and stored procedures called hundreds or thousands of times per minute.Deep understanding of database design principlesExperience with Data modelingCreating tables for relational data, views, stored procedures, and indexes.3+ years experience leading a team of SQL DevelopersTechnologies you may work with here (These are things you’ll encounter, not hard requirements, so exposure to even a few is great):Microsoft SQL ServerSQL Profiler, Performance Monitor, and other related toolsXML, JSON, MS Excel, MS SQL Server, and TableauWho You’ll Work WithYou will work closely with the ecommerce team, application developers and project management to design, support, and optimize SQL solutions in a high transaction e-commerce environment.
