Director of Data Analytics and Technology

Are you passionate about using data and technology to influence policy and improve the lives of vulnerable residents? This leadership role will oversee a team of direct and indirect staff and reports to the Director of the Department of Human Services. The position is responsible for advancing the use of data-driven approaches within public systems to deliver practical, measurable improvements. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in complex and ambiguous environments and is motivated by translating analytics and technology into operational enhancements for public programs. They will bring deep expertise in areas such as analytics, technology, or product development, and will partner across programs to ensure data and technology initiatives are aligned with organizational goals and stakeholder needs. The leader will ask strong questions, listen closely to stakeholders, and incorporate multiple perspectives into decision-making. They are expected to work effectively even when answers are not immediately available, taking ownership to move initiatives forward and help build more effective and efficient public services.
