Associate Sock Designer

Please note: this is an on-site position in Midtown Manhattan where we work in office 5 days/week! Responsibilities Work with Design Director on all facets of the product design cycle for Socks Ability to sketch accurate design flats on Adobe Illustrator Develop and design new ideas and create visually pleasing design CADS Create accurate and detailed tech packs. Daily review and follow up with factories on garment life cycle, from lab dips & strike offs to Pre-Production and TOP samples. Proactive market and trend research to always be on top of market trends. Ability to adhere to calendar to ensure deadlines are met Track and manage sample status Assist with records and samples organized Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams including production, and sales. Qualifications Degree in Fashion Design 1+ years experience in Sock / Hosiery Design Knowledge of sock/hosiery design and construction Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Excel Attention to detail, sense of urgency, willingness to learn, team-player Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience working with Off-Price customers.
