Assembler – J‑STD Certified | Soldering/ $30-$34

Step into a hands‑on role where you’ll build, solder, repair, and bring hardware to life inside a fast‑moving tech‑defense environment. If you like working with your hands, solving problems on the fly, and collaborating directly with engineers, this is the place to do it.

What You’ll Do

• Handle precision soldering and electronic assembly that meets J‑STD standards.

• Build and repair units, module boxes, harnesses, and PCB assemblies .

• Troubleshoot hardware issues inside software boxes and mechanical components.

• Work side‑by‑side with engineers on mechanical builds, testing, and repairs.

• Perform cup‑soldering , heat‑shrinking, and wiring corrections with accuracy.

• Keep documentation clean and quality high as you move through each build.

What You Bring

• Strong soldering and assembly skills — you’re comfortable with electronics and wiring.

• Experience with cup soldering , heat‑shrinking, and harness repair.

• J‑STD Assembly Certification (required).

• Ability to follow diagrams, instructions, and engineering direction with precision.

Bonus Points

• Experience in a start‑up or fast‑paced tech environment .

• Comfortable wearing multiple hats and jumping into whatever the build needs.

• Familiarity with mechanical assembly or supporting engineers on hardware projects.

• Interest in defense‑tech, robotics, or hardware development.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hawthorne, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
