Job Description

Langer Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc. is hiring immediately for a full-time Mechanic at our West Allis facility. This union position includes health insurance and pension benefits.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shift, with occasional Saturdays

Pay: Based on experience

Responsibilities:

Inspect, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and roofing equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using standard diagnostic tools
Follow all company, OSHA, DOT, local, state, and federal regulations
Operate company vehicles as needed

Requirements:

Must be 18+ years old
High school diploma or GED required
2+ years of mechanic experience preferred
Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR required
CDL Class A is a plus
Ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ lbs.
