Job Title: Medical Assistant - Pain Management Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our pain management team. The ideal candidate will support healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to patients experiencing pain. This role involves a combination of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our practice. Key Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures Take and record patient medical histories and vital signs Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up care Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures Educate patients on treatment plans and medication management Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is a plus Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care We offer a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional growth.
