Job Title: State Director of Operations (Georgia) Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite; relocation required if not local) Travel: 50%+ Position Summary Trulieve is seeking a results-driven, commercially focused State Director of Operations to lead our Georgia market. This is a full P&L ownership role responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and delivering strong profitability across a multi-site, multi-channel operation. As the senior leader for the state, you will operate as the business owner for Georgia, accountable for achieving aggressive sales targets, optimizing margins, and executing a high-performance growth strategy in a competitive and highly regulated environment. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on owning results, leading sales-focused teams, and scaling high-growth markets. Key Responsibilities Own and Drive State P&L Performance: Take full ownership of the state P&L, including revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and EBITDA performance Deliver against ambitious revenue and profitability targets, with clear accountability for results Build and execute data-driven forecasts, budgets, and financial plans Champion a sales-first culture across all business lines Drive teams to meet and exceed sales goals, KPIs, and growth targets Optimize pricing, promotions, and product assortment to maximize revenue Identify and execute on new revenue opportunities across retail and wholesale channels Leverage analytics and market insights to continuously refine sales strategies and outperform competitors Execute Strategic Growth Initiatives: Develop and implement state-specific growth strategies aligned with company objectives Translate enterprise strategy into localized, high-impact execution plans Lead initiatives that accelerate market share expansion and customer acquisition Deliver Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless day-to-day operations across retail, supply chain, and support functions Drive initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and expand margins Maintain optimal inventory and product availability to maximize sales opportunities Build and Lead High-Performing Teams: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing, metrics-driven leadership team Establish a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement Align team goals with revenue targets and financial outcomes Coach leaders to elevate performance and drive consistent execution against sales plans Ensure Regulatory Excellence: Oversee compliance with all state regulations and company policies Maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies and key stakeholders Ensure audit readiness and operational integrity across all locations Collaborate Across the Organization: Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align on growth priorities and execution Ensure marketing, operations, and merchandising efforts are directly tied to revenue and performance goals Qualifications 10+ years of Retail Leadership experience required Proven experience with full P&L ownership, including driving revenue growth and profitability Strong track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets in a multi-site environment Executive leadership experience in fast-paced, highly competitive, and regulated industries (cannabis, retail, healthcare, or similar preferred) Deep commercial acumen with the ability to translate strategy into measurable financial results Experience leading large, cross-functional teams with a focus on accountability and performance Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions and optimize outcomes Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels Education MBA or advanced degree preferred Why Join Trulieve At Trulieve, we are building a best-in-class organization focused on growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
