Senior Manager Logistics Operations & 3PL - Luxury Fashion Brand

Position Overview The Senior Manager, Logistics Operations & 3PL Performance is responsible for leading outsourced distribution and fulfillment operations across the Americas, ensuring high-performing, scalable omnichannel logistics capabilities that support retail, ecommerce, wholesale and reverse logistics operations. This role serves as the primary operational owner for third-party logistics warehouse performance across the region, driving service excellence, inventory execution, operational discipline, and continuous improvement across external logistics partners. The ideal candidate combines deep logistics operations expertise with strong warehouse and fulfillment knowledge, vendor governance experience, structured problem solving, and the ability to drive operational transformation in complex outsourced logistics environments. Key Responsibilities Own operational governance and performance management for third-party logistics providers across the Americas. Serve as the primary operational leader for outsourced warehouse and fulfillment execution across multiple business channels. Build strong executive and operational relationships with logistics partners, ensuring accountability, transparency, and high service performance. Lead operational/ business reviews, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with third-party providers. Establish and evolve KPI scorecards, SLA frameworks, corrective action plans, and governance routines to drive measurable improvement. Serve as the primary escalation point for operational disruptions, service failures, inventory issues, and business-critical execution risks. Partner with leadership, finance, and legal on scope evolution, operational commercials, and contract performance discussions. Omnichannel Fulfillment & Warehouse Operations Oversee third-party operational execution supporting ecommerce fulfillment, retail replenishment, wholesale distribution, crossdock operations, outlet inventory and fulfillment operations, and reverse logistics Ensure fulfillment operations meet service expectations, inventory availability requirements, and customer experience standards. Drive operational discipline across inbound, storage, fulfillment, outbound, and returns workflows. Proactively manage volume fluctuations, capacity constraints, labor planning, and operational priorities with 3PL partners Support peak readiness planning and business continuity execution. Inventory Control & Operational Excellence Drive strong operational controls across outsourced logistics environments. Partner with 3PL providers and internal teams to improve visibility, accuracy, and inventory discipline. Oversee performance related to inventory accuracy. cycle count compliance, inventory reconciliation support, dock-to-stock performance, throughput execution, order release to shipment performance, exception management, returns processing quality, operational compliance and security standards Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans to protect service continuity. Continuous Improvement & Capability Development Build and lead a structured continuous improvement roadmap for third-party logistics operations. Identify and implement initiatives that improve throughput, service performance, inventory accuracy, operational resilience, and cost efficiency. Drive improvements across warehouse productivity, process standardization, order cycle time, inventory controls, exception reduction, returns optimization and peak capacity readiness Apply root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies to recurring operational issues. Drive sustainable corrective actions rather than short-term workarounds. Own operational KPI visibility and performance reporting for third-party logistics operations. Monitor trends, identify risks, and drive action based on operational performance data. Use data-driven insights to prioritize operational improvements and support leadership decision-making. Project Leadership & Operational Transformation Lead cross-functional logistics transformation initiatives using structured project management discipline. Define project scope, ownership, milestones, dependencies, implementation risks, and execution plans. Initiatives may include: systems implementations and integrations, marketplace launches, process redesign, warehouse operational upgrades, workflow automation Drive stakeholder alignment, execution governance, and change management throughout implementation. Qualifications & Skills 5+ years of progressive experience in logistics operations, warehouse management, distribution operations, or third-party logistics management. Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience in warehouse or outsourced fulfillment environments. Strong operational expertise across warehouse and omnichannel fulfillment environments Demonstrated success driving operational improvement, service performance enhancement, and process transformation. Strong project management and cross-functional implementation experience. Experience working with ERP, WMS, OMS, or related supply chain systems. Strong analytical and KPI-driven decision-making capabilities. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational leadership skills. Experience in retail, fashion, omnichannel retail, or customer service-sensitive distribution environments strongly preferred.
