Description: The position involves working Monday through Friday from 07:00 to 15:30. The unit provides 24/7 coverage with experienced personnel. There are three GE Logiq E9 XD Clear Ultrasound machines available for use. Documentation is handled through an electronic medical record system. Scheduling requirements include availability Monday through Thursday nights. There is no floating policy in place. The following procedures are performed on the unit: OB/GYN studies, vascular studies, abdominal studies, some pediatrics, and possibly thoracentesis or paracentesis. The unit is equipped with a high-level disinfection system using Trophon probe cleaning systems. The team is experienced and values a family-like atmosphere with strong teamwork and a great culture. The department has received recognition for excellence in clinical services. This unit is expanding to meet the needs of growing patient volumes in various areas.
