Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- ASHA CCC’s or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience or interest in pediatric therapy within school settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions to students, supporting their speech, language, and communication goals
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Screen, evaluate, and diagnose speech and language disorders in children from diverse backgrounds
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress and communicate clearly with families and staff
- Consult with teachers and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to foster optimal learning environments
- Provide guidance and support to staff regarding speech/language needs in the classroom
