Customer Service Representative (Call Center)Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our fast-paced call center team. In this role, you will handle inbound customer calls, provide accurate information, address prior authorization inquiries, and assist with general customer service needs. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems while maintaining quality and accuracy standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound customer service calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Answer questions related to prior authorizations, account inquiries, and general customer concerns.
• Conduct outbound follow-up calls as needed to resolve customer issues or provide updates.
• Accurately enter and update customer information across multiple systems and databases.
• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive customer information.
• Navigate multiple applications and programs simultaneously while assisting customers.
• Meet established performance metrics for quality, accuracy, and productivity.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and create positive customer experiences.
• Document all customer interactions thoroughly and accurately.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent high-volume call center experience within the last 2-3 years.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional phone presence.
• Basic to intermediate computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to type 30+ words per minute .
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Stable work history with demonstrated job tenure of at least one year in previous positions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Performance Expectations

• Manage approximately 50-100 calls per day, depending on call complexity.

Assessment Requirements

Candidates must successfully complete the following assessments:

• Typing Test - One Space Version (1 Minute) : Minimum 30 WPM
• Call Center - Telephone Skills Assessment : Minimum score of 75%

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
