Division Chief for Clinical Research

The client is seeking an innovative and accomplished physician-scientist to serve as Division Chief for Clinical Research and an endowed chair position. This senior leadership role is part of the executive leadership team and will help advance the client’s mission to discover the triggers and improve treatment strategies for major health conditions, including obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and dementia, through integrated basic, clinical, and population research. The Division Chief will lead and strengthen the client’s clinical research programs by mentoring and inspiring early-career scientists, navigating an evolving funding landscape, championing collaborative ventures, and supporting diverse funding strategies that enable innovation. The role is expected to provide strategic guidance that furthers internationally recognized research efforts focused on key areas such as obesity, diabetes, aging, and cancer, with an emphasis on translating discoveries into effective treatments that improve health across the lifespan. Reporting to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will be board-certified in internal medicine and/or a relevant subspecialty such as endocrinology, gerontology, cardiology, oncology, or neurology. Candidates should have clinical expertise alongside a strong administrative vision, an extensive track record of securing grant funding, and a substantial publication record, supporting appointment at the faculty rank of full professor with tenure.
