Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, creating a comprehensive understanding of their mental health.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their therapeutic journey.

• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients.

• Stay informed on recent research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to continuously improve therapy strategies.

• Maintain diligent and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and engage in team meetings and consultations to share insights and strategies.

• Advocate for clients by addressing and working to reduce the stigma around mental health issues, ensuring their needs are met effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support individuals grappling with mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and personality disorders. Our client base is diverse, encompassing various socio-economic backgrounds, including vulnerable populations such as those experiencing homelessness, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, dependent on qualifications and experience.
