Maintenance & Security Assistant | Full Time Schedule: 9:00am-5:30pm- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday We’re looking for a reliable Maintenance & Security Assistant to help keep our beautiful community safe, secure, and running smoothly. Previous experience in building maintenance or security is a huge plus! The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Assistant is to assist the Maintenance Director (MD) in maintaining and operating the physical aspects of the Property. Areas of Responsibility Assist the MD to ensure that the Community is always covered in the event of an emergency. Assist the MD in the preventative and routine maintenance programs to ensure that mechanical equipment, building structures and grounds are properly maintained. Assist the MD in the safe operation of all mechanical equipment through routine physical inspections. Assist MD to ensure that all maintenance work and storage areas are maintained in a safe, organized, and clean manner. Assist MD in maintaining online work order system, efficiently use the system and help delegate work orders to staff. Follow OSHA and Company guidelines relating to lock down and tag out procedures that are approved for the Community and follow OSHA standards for safe working procedures. Other duties assigned – see full job description. Required Qualifications Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Minimum of one (1) year maintenance-related experience including working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC systems. Must be an independent worker with effective communication skills able to multi-task and be organized. Must have positive Criminal Background Screening. HVAC and other related maintenance certifications desirable.
