From uncovering the next clinical breakthrough, to rapid and reliable sample analysis, to more rigorous decision making—we are enabling clinicians to deliver the best possible care to their patients with improved efficiency, clinical confidence, adaptive collaboration, and accelerated intelligence.Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.The Staff Manufacturing Scientist is responsible for responsible for leading and supporting complex multi-site consumable manufacturing and process improvement projects that deliver value to the company and meet cost, quality, and delivery objectives.This position reports to the Senior Manager and is part of the Continuous Improvement team located in Chaska, MN and will be an on-site role.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Work with internal customers to identify consumable design and process improvement opportunities that support business growth.Work cross-functionally to help define user requirements, conduct risk analysis, draft verification and validation test plans and reports, and execute design transfers in the medical device industry.Lead teams through design changes for technical processes or related equipment improvement projects.The essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related technical field with a minimum of 9+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree in a related field with at least 7+ years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree in a related field with a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experienceDemonstrated skills in design control processes, including design change, risk management, design requirements, design validation & verification, and design transferExperience in Project ManagementExperience working in a GMP environmentIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Working knowledge of statisticsAby Conjugation TechniquesBeckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
