Medical Records Specialist (Temporary-to-Hire) Location: Framingham, MA 01702 (Onsite) Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM EST $21/hour Start Date: July 26, 2026 Duration: 8+ weeks, with potential for permanent hire We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Specialist to join the Health Information Management (HIM) Department. This role supports medical record processing in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment and requires strong organizational, technical, and customer service skills. Key Responsibilities: Process medical record requests accurately and efficiently. Audit medical records to ensure completeness and compliance. Document and update information across multiple systems using dual monitors. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling protected health information. Provide professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications: Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume workloads. Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Self-motivated with a focus on productivity and accuracy. Core Competencies: Takes ownership of work and meets deadlines.
