TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Spokane, Washington, 99204!

Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience License: Valid compact nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Client RN experience preferred - Comfortable with the NIH scale - Proficient in caring for post-surgical neurology patients Description: This position requires at least 1 year of telemetry experience. Candidates should be willing to learn as this is a heavy neuro unit. Floating between units may be required. Weekends are required every other weekend. The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. Special requirements include familiarity with neurology patient care and procedural sedation monitoring. Candidates must have experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes, and neuro-specific procedures. The unit is designated as a stroke unit and is thrombectomy-capable. Candidates must be competent in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias. Experience in caring for patients with cerebrovascular accidents and traumatic brain injuries is essential. Travelers may be expected to float between facilities. Compliance with scheduled shifts and holiday requirements is mandatory. References covering the past year are required.
