Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Analyst for a direct hire opportunity in San Juan, PR within the insurance industry. This role is ideal for an analytical professional who enjoys transforming business, underwriting, portfolio, financial, and operational data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making.

The Business Analyst will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to evaluate performance trends, identify risks and opportunities, and develop dashboards, reports, and analytical models that improve visibility across the organization. This opportunity offers a stable, professional environment with supportive leadership, strong teamwork, and exposure to important business initiatives tied to profitability, planning, underwriting performance, and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business, underwriting, portfolio, financial, and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical models using Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
- Evaluate profitability, business performance, and key metrics to support strategic planning and management decisions.
- Translate complex data findings into clear insights, summaries, and recommendations for leadership and business partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on reporting, budgeting, planning, portfolio analysis, and operational initiatives.
- Support ad hoc analysis and data-driven projects that improve visibility, decision-making, and business outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $55,000 to $65,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Location: San Juan, PR.
