Position: Cocktail Server- Hotel Indigo El Paso, TXJob Description: The Cocktail Server will interact with guests in a positive and professional manner, serve beverages and/or food to the guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner. Required Skills and Requisites:Ability to obtain any government-required license or certificate.Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.Basic knowledge of beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages. Liquor certification if required by the state or local government. Service orientation. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Working weekends and holidays required.High School Diploma required.Responsibilities and Duties:Greets guests in courteous and friendly manner.Promotes and documents orders for drinks.Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest, including those served by other beverage servers.Processes all payments for beverage purchases and ensures accuracy of said payments in order to balance all monies.Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to Health Department regulations.Must be aware of and adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.At Palette Hotels, we are dedicated to creating and sustaining meaningful hospitality careers for our associates.
