Job Overview A law firm seeks an Intellectual Property Partner specializing in Life Sciences for their San Diego, CA office. The role offers significant opportunities in biotech hubs such as Denver, Salt Lake City, Southern California, and Washington, D.C., contributing to the firm's growth in the life science sector. Duties Lead and manage life science IP prosecution, transactional, and litigation matters. Develop and maintain a portable and consistent book of business. Collaborate with patent attorneys across multiple U.S. offices. Engage in cross-marketing and alternative fee agreements. Requirements Proven track record in life science intellectual property law. Strong business development skills with a portable book of business. Experience in biotech hubs is advantageous. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the state bar in California or eligibility for admission. Skills Excellent leadership and management abilities. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
