As a Nutrition Services Clerk, you will:

• Distribute and collect menus, assist patients with diet orders, and process menus.
• Update patient kardex as required to include all diet changes; document nourishments as ordered.
• Visit patients to gather food preference, allergies and to document all nutritional history.
• Complete production sheets and document all special food requests.
• Check patient tray lines to ensure each meal is accurate to diet, patient request, and garnishing.
• Prepare and check early trays; assure that food carts leave kitchen at scheduled times.
• Perform cleaning duties.

Qualifications include:

• Possession of a food handler's permit, if mandated by state or county regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one-year experience as a Diet Clerk/Nutrition Services Clerk in an acute care facility preferred.
