Manager, Regional Business Solutions

Regional Manager – Business Solutions Overview Lead and cultivate a strong sales team to deliver new incremental customer relationships for Astound’s Business voice, data, and video services. Serve as a critical component of the overall growth plan to meet revenue and net gain targets. Responsibilities Source, train, and deploy solutions‑sales strategies for full component offerings. Demonstrate knowledge of pricing, product changes, and service processes to provide an outstanding customer experience. Act as a subject‑matter expert on all sales channel systems and tools (billing system, reporting structures, CRM). Provide regular updates to Enterprise Account Executives and Direct Sales Representatives via weekly team meetings. Monitor daily team activities to assess performance against bi‑weekly targets and monthly new‑customer sales budgets. Conduct one‑on‑one coaching, including field ride‑alongs, productivity documentation, and performance management. Collaborate across the region to develop and create new sales incentives and recognition opportunities. Manage the day‑to‑day activities of a team of Direct Sales Representatives for Single Family prospecting and Multi‑Dwelling Unit relationships. Maintain budgeted headcount, partner with recruiting to source candidates, and conduct interviews. Ensure team members present a neat, professional appearance to internal and external customers. Understand and follow all company safety standards and practices, including OSHA and National Electric Safety Code rules and regulations; report accidents as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications College degree or high‑school diploma with equivalent education and sales experience. Minimum 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a commercial, enterprise, or business environment. Knowledge of the cable industry, regional communities, customers, and staff. Proven record of exceeding sales team performance expectations. Highly productive with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks for customer acquisition and retention. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Experience facilitating a harmonious team environment. Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Willingness and ability to quickly learn the cable industry and regional communities.
