Applications Manager – Workday & IS AdministrationResponsible for overseeing application strategies and project initiatives, aligning team performance with business goals. Leads enterprise platform initiatives with a focus on Workday and UKG to support clinical, research, and educational operations. Drives application optimization to achieve enterprise goals for patient safety, workforce effectiveness, and quality health outcomes.ResponsibilitiesPlan, manage, direct, and coordinate all activities to ensure a stable information environment, efficient workflows, and responsiveness to operational needs.Effectively manage projects and analyst workloads to ensure timely implementation, resource utilization, and alignment with enterprise priorities.Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes to support transparency, collaboration, and innovation in system design.Monitor maintenance of supported applications, report critical issues to leadership, and facilitate discussion with cross-functional teams.Guide operations through development and monitoring of goals and tactics that support high-quality services and strategic alignment.Utilize organizational information systems and data for operational management.Communicate ambitious performance measures with leadership to improve outcomes.Ensure compliance with departmental policies, regulatory requirements, and participate in safety and quality activities.ExperienceProven managerial experience in IS applications, with Workday and UKG required.Strong organizational and leadership skills.Ability to manage budgets and resources.Excellent communication and strategic planning abilities.Minimum five years of experience in healthcare, operations, or IT.Knowledge of project management techniques, systems design, and analysis.Minimum two years of leadership experience.Education and Certification RequirementsBachelor's Degree (Master's preferred).Workday and UKG application experience (preferred).Preferred certifications: Nursing Informatics ANCC, Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS), Agile Certified Practitioner, or one of the listed certifications.Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits packages are offered, with opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
