From securing our campuses to making sure our events go off without a hitch, Facilities is the human face of our company's well-oiled onsite operation.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesOur Integrated Security team focuses on designing, installing, and maintaining complex security solutions for EchoStar. As a Security Installation Technician, you will be responsible for reviewing, understanding, and implementing installations according to plans provided by our Project Managers.A typical day could see you working on a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, patching server software, on a man-lift installing a camera, installing a badge reader, or providing service coordination for a remote facility. Key responsibilities include:Installing and servicing electronic security systems, including access control, IP Cameras, and intrusion alarm systemsPre-wiring, installing, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenanceAdministrative duties including project updates to Project Managers, completing and filing all project documentationTravel is required on an as-needed basis, typically 10%-15% but can fluctuateSkills, Experience and RequirementsSkills and qualifications:Progressive experience in a technical role within the integrated security or low-voltage industry(s) is requiredPrevious experience leading installations at the site level is preferredProgramming experience preferredVendor Certification in low voltage systems is preferred (ie.
