SPEECH PATHOLOGY TECHNICIAN (SPT) | PER DIEM OPPORTUNITY JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Pathology Technician (SPT) to join a dynamic healthcare team on a per diem basis. Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, the SPT will assist with therapeutic interventions, patient treatment plans, and documentation while helping patients improve communication, cognitive, and swallowing functions.

• Position: Speech Pathology Technician (SPT)
• Employment Type: Per Diem
• Openings: 2
• Shift: Day Shift
• Hours: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
• Meal Break: 30 Minutes
• Pay Rate: $49.00 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with speech and language therapy activities
• Support implementation of treatment plans
• Document patient progress and treatment activities
• Prepare therapy materials and equipment
• Collaborate with speech therapists and healthcare staff
• Assist patients during therapy sessions
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety standards

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of an approved Speech Pathology Assistant/Technician program preferred
• Previous pediatric or hospital experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
