Registered Dental Assistant – Orthodontics Legendary Orthodontics seeks a full‑time, California‑licensed Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support orthodontic operations across multiple Sacramento‑area clinics. Candidates must be willing to travel locally between sites and possess a valid RDA license in good standing. What You'll Do Assist the orthodontic team during wire adjustments, bonding, appliance deliveries, and debonding appointments. Collect and record accurate diagnostic data, including high‑resolution intraoral photographs, X‑rays, and digital impressions. Provide patient and parent concierge services, easing anxieties, delivering oral‑hygiene instruction, and celebrating treatment milestones. Maintain flexibility while traveling between clinics to support smooth operations. Qualifications Active California RDA license (required). At least 2 years of dental assisting experience; orthodontic experience a significant advantage. Proficiency with dental practice‑management software (Cloud 9, Open Dental, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft). Strong communication, bedside manner, attention to detail, and team‑first attitude. Compliance with safety protocols, successful drug screen and background check.
