Warehouse Associate / Backup Box Truck DriverSeacoast Distributors LLC – Lindenhurst, NYPay: $19.00 per hourFull-Time | Day ShiftSteady Warehouse Work + Occasional DrivingLooking for a stable, full-time warehouse job with a little more variety?Seacoast Distributors LLC is hiring a Warehouse Associate / Backup Box Truck Driver to join our team in Lindenhurst, NY.This is primarily a warehouse position - you will NOT be driving every day.Most days, you'll work with our warehouse team picking orders, receiving merchandise, loading trucks, and keeping inventory organized. When one of our regular delivery drivers is on vacation, out sick, or otherwise unavailable, you'll step in and cover an established delivery route.If you have box truck driving experience but don't necessarily want to spend every day behind the wheel, this could be a great fit.What You'll DoMost Days – WarehousePick and pack customer orders accuratelyReceive and put away incoming merchandiseLoad and unload trucksPrepare customer orders for delivery and shipmentOrganize inventory and warehouse locationsAssist with general warehouse dutiesHelp maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentWork as part of the warehouse team to get orders out accurately and on timeAs Needed – Backup Delivery DriverCover established delivery routes when regular drivers are unavailableSafely operate a company box truckLoad, secure, and unload customer deliveriesMake accurate and timely deliveries to customersComplete required delivery paperworkPerform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsProvide friendly and professional service to customersFollow company safety procedures and applicable DOT requirementsWhat We're Looking ForPrevious box truck driving experience is requiredValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to successfully complete a DOT medical examination and obtain a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT medical card)Ability to meet company and applicable DOT driver qualification requirementsPrevious warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, or order-picking experience preferredDependable attendance and punctualityComfortable with the physical demands of warehouse and delivery workAbility to safely lift and move merchandise throughout the workdayComfortable working independently when making deliveriesGood communication and customer service skillsTeam-oriented attitude and willingness to help where neededThis Could Be a Great Fit If You:Want a steady, full-time jobHave box truck driving experience but don't want to drive every dayEnjoy warehouse work and staying activeLike having some variety in your workweekAre dependable and take pride in showing up for your teamEnjoy occasionally getting out of the warehouse and making deliveriesAre looking for a stable company where you can build long-term employmentWhy Join Seacoast Distributors?Seacoast Distributors is an established marine parts distributor serving customers throughout the region.
