Assistant Project Manager

Trillium is now hiring an Assistant Project Manager in Alfred Station, NY! Our client specializes in utility scale solar and they are now looking to bring on a Site Assistant to help run a project in Alfred Station. This is a long term contracted role paying up to $37/hr depending on experience with a minimum of 40 hours a week. Duties: Assist the Site Manager and Project Manager with daily site operations and project coordination. Maintain accurate project records, reports, logs, and other site documentation. Assist with daily project tracking, including manpower, equipment, materials, deliveries, and work progress. Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel as needed. Help monitor material deliveries and ensure materials are received, organized, and properly stored. Assist with maintaining site schedules and communicating schedule updates to the appropriate team members. Support daily site meetings, including preparation of meeting materials, notes, and action items. Assist with maintaining safety documentation, inspections, training records, and incident reports. Help ensure the jobsite remains organized and follows company safety and housekeeping standards. Take photographs and maintain daily documentation of project progress. Assist with tracking RFIs, submittals, punch-list items, and other project documentation. Support the Site Manager with administrative tasks, data entry, filing, and document control. Assist with tracking equipment and tools used on the project. Communicate site issues, delays, material shortages, or other concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned to support successful completion of the solar project. Qualifications: 1–2 years of construction or solar project experience. Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms. Experience with daily reports, timesheets, delivery tracking, and project documentation. Familiarity with solar construction activities, including site preparation, racking, module installation, electrical work, and commissioning. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
