We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data/Business Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret data that supports strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will leverage data mining, statistical analysis, and business intelligence tools to identify trends, uncover insights, and provide actionable recommendations that improve operational efficiency and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, extract, clean, and validate data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Perform data mining and exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business opportunities.
- Analyze large datasets to support business initiatives, operational improvements, and strategic planning.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using business intelligence tools.
- Translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and analytical reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting processes, and analytical methodologies.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and performance measurement initiatives using quantitative analysis.
- Assist with database queries, data modeling, and automation of recurring reports.
- Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a related analytical role.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data.
- Experience with data mining techniques and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
