For more than 50 years, Talon Precision has manufactured precision components for Aerospace, Defense, and Medical customers. As production continues to grow, were seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Setup Technician to support our turning department and help ensure quality parts are delivered on time.
This role is ideal for a machinist who enjoys ownership of the setup process, problem-solving on the shop floor, and producing precision-machined components.
The Work Youll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
Set up and operate CNC horizontal lathes
Verify tooling, offsets, and workholding
Load and adjust CNC programs as required
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
Read and interpret blueprints
Verify part dimensions using precision measuring instruments
Troubleshoot machining issues and improve production efficiency
Support production schedules while maintaining quality standards

GD&T knowledge
Aerospace, Defense, or Medical manufacturing experience
