Associate Director, Contract Management
Revolution Medicines
Revolution Medicines seeks an Associate Director, Contract Management to lead a team of five contracts managers and drive operational excellence within the Legal department. This role will oversee contract lifecycle management processes, ensure service-level compliance, mentor staff, and partner with leadership to strengthen contracting standards and system adoption.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day Contract Management team operations including workload prioritization, escalation management, and coaching
- Mentor and develop junior contracts staff on negotiation, issue identification, business partnering, and template usage
- Establish, monitor, and manage service-level expectations around responsiveness, turnaround time, quality, and workload
- Drive consistent CLM system adoption across contracts team and internal business clients through training and reinforcement
- Partner with Executive Director on contracting standards, procedures, templates, governance, and escalation protocols
Requirements
- Extensive contract management experience with demonstrated expertise in contract review and negotiation
- Proven people leadership and team management capability with mentoring experience
- Strong knowledge of contract lifecycle management systems and technology adoption
- Experience establishing and monitoring service-level metrics and performance management
- Expertise in process governance, templating, playbooks, and documentation standards
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify operational bottlenecks, and drive process improvements
