Position: Sr. Manager, Category Strategy & Insights – OXO Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Director of Category Strategy & Insights, the Sr. Manager will work closely with marketing and sales to develop category strategies and sales tactics to drive growth within our customers and categories. Develop category reviews, build standardized reporting, and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations. Steward the value of Helen of Troy’s Category Advisory Services with key customers. Own interaction with marketing & sales to evaluate the category, address key business questions, and assist in building strategies and tactics to drive category growth. Deliver fully coordinated consumer, category, and market insights to guide customers’ strategic choices and tactical actions that provide market‑leading growth. Proactively provide analytics using all Category Management capabilities, such as planogram software and data visualization tools to drive business opportunities and develop recommendations. Cultivate business relationships with customers’ key contacts to establish Helen of Troy as the top tier source for category insights & analytics. Present analysis and insights into customers’ merchandising organization, showcasing growth opportunities within the category. Craft and refresh Category Management reporting, analysis, and special project work for Marketing & Sales organizations. Required Skills Analyze, understand, and interpret point of sale and syndicated data. Simultaneously prioritize multiple projects. Build a complete category management review including relevant data and recommendations. Strong analytical, verbal, written, and presentation skills. Develop and influence strategy at both retailer and manufacturer, with management level positions. Experience working with senior customer leadership at the Senior Buyer/Merchant or DMM level. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a Quantitative Field (Computer Science, Applied Math, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, etc.). 5+ years’ experience in Consumer Product Goods. 5+ years’ experience in a combination of Category Management, Analytics, or Sales. 2+ years’ experience in category management or retail analytics. Extensive knowledge of syndicated data sources: IRI/Circana, Numerator, Nielsen, Household Panel. Knowledge of JDA Space Planning software. Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, and Power BI. Flexible schedule to accommodate seasonal workload. Ability to travel domestically (15%). Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. Preferred Qualifications Master of Business Administration or Business Analytics. Knowledge and use of SQL Server and Access. Knowledge and use of programming languages (R, Python). Compensation & Benefits In New York, the standard base pay range for this role is $114,000.00–$143,000.00 annually. (Actual salaries vary based on location, experience, skill level, and performance.)
