This role provides professional, compassionate, and efficient nursing care within our IR procedural department. The RN will deliver age-specific, individualized care based on the procedure type and patient condition, while continuously evaluating nursing practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Deliver direct nursing care during IR procedures with a focus on patient safety and procedural success. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive, quality care. Adhere to hospital and departmental safety guidelines and best practices. Document accurately and effectively in the electronic medical record system. Maintain composure and efficiency in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Qualifications Special Skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to function effectively in a procedural care setting. Proficient in basic computer skills and nursing documentation. Minimum Requirements Experience: 2 years of ICU experience if no prior IR experience Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school Certifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required (must be obtained upon completion of orientation if not already held) Preferred Requirements Experience: Previous experience in CVICU, ICU, or Emergency Room settings 1 year of acute care experience Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Certifications: Certification in a specialty area is a plus Join our team and be a part of a hospital that’s committed to patient-centered care, innovation, and excellence.
