Chief Operating Officer

Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of a multi-site group of Urgent Care Centers throughout multiple states to include both existing and newly transitioned centers.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting growth and expansion of existing and new centers throughout various regions
• Develops and monitors operating budgets, initiating corrective action when substandard financial performance occurs
• Creating an effective reporting structure allowing the development of a high performing / high quality team
• Develop and foster effective collaboration between individual Center and Territory Managers, medical staff leadership, and operation support services to ensure an integrated approach to providing services
• Establish performance goals, position expectations and allocate labor resources
• Ensure communication of goals, objectives, policies, and procedures both up and down the chain of command
• Develop and implement systems to monitor and ensure compliance with productivity standards, performance standards and position competencies
• Recommend and approve individual center improvements including renovation and equipment purchases
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations throughout each region

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration preferred
• Leadership in multi-site management of Urgent Care centers required
• Experience integrating new acquisitions/mergers preferred
• Experience building and empowering teams with the ability to enforce accountability
• Customer service skills with both internal and external customers
• Proven success in delivering outstanding customer service
• Skill in preparing reports, manuals, or other documents that contain complex information
• Ability to travel extensively to support all regions
