Work Environment

The role is onsite at our Fort Myers Beach Rehabilitation Center, which is strategically located to serve the vibrant local community. The work schedule is structured primarily for Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to enjoy a healthy work-life balance while fully engaging with patients in a hands-on capacity. Our facility features modern equipment and resources needed to effectively deliver high-quality physical therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized physical therapy services to help patients meet their specific health goals, ensuring a clear understanding of their treatment objectives.
• Manage a balanced caseload that allows for individualized attention, facilitating stronger patient-therapist relationships and optimal recovery outcomes.
• Provide specialized care in orthopedic outpatient settings, leveraging your clinical expertise to assess and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, focusing on enhancing patients' range of motion while promoting functional improvement through cost-effective treatment approaches.
• Develop and adapt comprehensive care plans, utilizing manual therapy techniques and exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Encourage patient motivation throughout their recovery journey, focusing on education and self-management strategies that promote long-term health.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health team, including physicians and other rehabilitation professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans while meticulously documenting each session using EMR systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, alongside an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Strong clinical skills are essential, including a solid foundation in various manual therapy techniques and proven success in developing exercise regimens.
• Exemplary documentation skills with familiarity in electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, to maintain accurate patient records.
• A proactive approach to staying updated on the latest physical therapy practices and research to ensure evidence-based interventions are implemented.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation is highly desirable.
• Ability to demonstrate measurable outcomes from previous roles, showcasing the effectiveness of treatment strategies employed.
• Proficiency in building rapport with patients and a history of positive patient feedback.

Compensation and Benefits
