Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while delivering meaningful support to clients in various school settings across Virginia. You will connect with clients through secure virtual platforms, ensuring confidentiality and comfort. Your schedule will primarily be Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, facilitating a predictable work-life arrangement conducive to mental health care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver comprehensive counseling, psychotherapy, and case management services to clients facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their personal goals, regularly assessing progress to adjust interventions as needed.

• Engage in advocacy to connect clients to community resources such as financial aid, housing assistance, or support groups to augment therapeutic outcomes.

• Implement crisis intervention techniques for clients in acute distress, ensuring timely and effective responses to situations involving suicidal thoughts, substance abuse, or severe trauma.

• Participate in community outreach activities aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma through educational workshops and presentations.

• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations; document case notes, treatment plans, and client progress meticulously to provide clear records for ongoing care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.
