Job Summary FreeWheel, a Comcast company, provides comprehensive ad platforms for publishers, advertisers, and media buyers. Powered by premium video content, robust data, and advanced technology, we’re making it easier for buyers and sellers to transact across all screens, data types, and sales channels. As a global company, we have offices in nine countries and can insert advertisements around the world. The role is responsible for advocating company technology standards and exploring new technology practices for potential use. It involves guiding strategic solutions that consider the full scope of business challenges, mentoring, and code reviews to uphold design best practices. Responsibilities Leading the strategic development and execution of enterprise-wide software programs, ensuring they align with overarching business objectives Fostering collaboration with the enterprise architecture team to design and implement the most effective solutions for advanced business needs Guaranteeing the delivery of well-engineered, operable, and maintainable solutions in accordance with projected timelines Establishing and advocating for best practices in coding standards, object-oriented design, and platform-specific architectural concerns Overseeing the documentation and tracking of requirements for significant enterprise development projects and strategic enhancements Scanning and integrating current and future technological trends to advance organizational projects and system architectures Mentoring team members in cutting-edge technologies and implementation architecture, enhancing team expertise and project outcomes Driving the system implementation strategy, participating in key forums and meetings to align technological solutions with business processes Leading architectural efforts on projects, ensuring a consistent and comprehensive design approach from inception to minimize re-work Championing innovation, fostering an environment conducive to creative problem-solving, and contributing to intellectual property through patents Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance Regular, consistent and punctual attendance Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Understand our Operating Principles; make them the guidelines for how you do your job Own the customer experience, think and act in ways that put our customers first, give them seamless digital options at every touchpoint, and make them promoters of our products and services Be enthusiastic learners, users and advocates of our game-changing technology, products and services, especially our digital tools and experiences Win as a team, make big things happen by working together and being open to new ideas Be an active part of the Net Promoter System, a way of working that brings more employee and customer feedback into the company by joining huddles, making call backs and helping us elevate opportunities to do better for our customers Drive results and growth Support a culture of inclusion in how you work and lead Do what's right for each other, our customers, investors and our communities Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree (preferred; applicants with related coursework or extensive professional experience may also be considered) Certifications: Relevant (if applicable) Relevant Work Experience: 10+ years EEO Statement Comcast is an equal opportunity workplace.
