Friddle Dental is a growing, privately owned dental practice in Alexandria, VA looking for an experienced Insurance Specialist to join our team. We’re a one-dentist office with a great patient base, a supportive team, and a positive, low-drama work environment.

Position Overview:
This role is focused on insurance and patient collections , while also supporting the front office as needed. We’re looking for someone who is organized, confident with insurance, and great with patients.

Responsibilities:

• Insurance verification and breakdowns
• Submitting and tracking claims
• Following up on unpaid claims and denials
• Managing insurance and patient collections
• Posting payments and reconciling accounts
• Communicating with patients regarding balances and insurance
• Assisting front desk with check-in/check-out, phones, and scheduling as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience with dental insurance required
• Strong understanding of PPO plans and claim processes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Team player willing to help wherever needed

Schedule:

• 4 days per week (preferred)
• Open to discussing part-time for the right candidate
