Work Environment\n

The hybrid work model at Peaceful Perspective allows counselors the flexibility to perform their roles remotely as well as in-person at our outpatient office. Our work facility is equipped with the resources necessary to provide a conducive environment for both counseling sessions and staff collaboration. You will have the autonomy to set your own schedule while collaborating with clients in a calming, professional setting.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a licensed mental health counselor, you will:

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions using video conferencing tools and in-person meetings, ensuring that clients feel supported throughout their mental health journey.

• Encourage clients to openly discuss their emotions and experiences, thereby helping them develop self-awareness and personal growth insights.
\n
• Evaluate clients' mental well-being through comprehensive assessments and use this information to create tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Set realistic goals in collaboration with clients, advocating for their needs and guiding them towards achievable outcomes.

• Utilize solution-focused therapy techniques to implement actionable strategies that address clients' unique concerns and aspirations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will predominantly consist of stable adults facing low acuity mental health challenges. Each individual will be pre-screened to ensure appropriate alignment with your expertise and demographic preferences, allowing you to engage effectively with those you support. Importantly, you will not be managing severe mental health cases, enabling you to concentrate on fostering growth and development.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Active, unrestricted licensure to practice as a mental health counselor (e.g., LMFT, LMHC, LCSW).

• Proven clinical skills with the ability to formulate and implement effective treatment plans.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills characterized by empathy, active listening, and open communication.
\n
• Basic proficiency in computer usage, with familiarity in telehealth platforms being advantageous.

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, prior experience in a counseling role focusing on adult clientele is preferred. Experience with telehealth and remote counseling is highly valued, as we strive to integrate technology into our therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our compensation package is competitive, with an annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 , dependent on hours worked. Additional benefits include:
