Service Coordinator

Performs all functions relating to the sale and/or handling of replacement parts and accessories. Assist customers with parts requirements. Processing order paperwork and shipment of parts to maintain company standard of customer satisfaction. Aid and work to implement strategic pricing strategies and pricing programs. Service Coordinator communicates with customers and the shop. Prevost is looking for someone in the auto/truck repair industry that can efficiently schedule shop repairs and speak to customers about issues and costs. If you prioritize customer satisfaction, timeliness, and strong communication skills, you will be an ideal candidate. Core Responsibilities Responds to customer inquiries about replacement parts, accessories or technical support. Answers phone calls and gathers data needed to identify parts requirements. May package parts and accessories for shipment to the appropriate destination. May process special order requests when necessary. Assists parts sales specialists and warehouse specialists in the processing of orders. Processes branch service department parts orders. Maintains up‑to‑date documentation relating to parts and accessories. Maintains work area and environment. Participates in job‑related training exercises when appropriate or necessary. Welcomes customers or responds to customer phone requests. Finalizes work order processing and invoicing. Distributes and keeps technical information up to date. Trains co‑workers on various aspects of their work responsibilities or expertise, as requested. Handles a high volume of calls. Processes work orders. Closes repair orders. Coordinates for repair estimates with Technicians and Managers. Required Competencies Safeguard organizational and personal information confidentiality. Preferred: one year vocational training or two years in the automotive/truck/bus industry. Good communication skills. Technical knowledge is a strong plus. Proficiency in MS Office applications. Working knowledge of SAP preferred. Minimum Years of Experience Required 3–5 years of customer service experience. Preferred. For this position, the base pay is set at $32.00 – $35.00 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work‑related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
