About the Role This role keeps accentedge running — owning people operations, and coordinating finance and legal workflows for a lean, fast-growing medical-AI company, while helping cultivate a WELL-aligned employee experience. Key Responsibilities Lead people operations: hiring coordination, onboarding, benefits, and HR records. Coordinate finance workflows (AP/AR support, expense, vendor management) with external partners. Manage legal document workflows, contracts intake, and the regulated-document filing footprint. Support culture, workplace experience, and WELL-aligned amenities programs. Maintain compliant, confidential handling of HR, finance, and legal information. Required Qualifications 4+ years in people operations, HR, or business administration (startup/scale-up experience a plus). Strong organization, discretion, and cross-functional coordination skills. Familiarity with HR systems, payroll/benefits, and basic finance processes. Excellent written and interpersonal communication. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting finance and legal functions in a lean team. Knowledge of employment compliance and confidentiality requirements. Experience in healthcare or regulated environments. A Day in the Role Chicago-based hybrid role in the admin zone, using private rooms for sensitive HR, finance, and legal conversations.
